For owners
Ask to see the photos.
If the company managing your place runs on Starry, every clean and every inspection at your unit is a job with a checklist, a name, a timestamp and photographs against it. That is a different conversation from “it went fine.”
What's on the record
A record, not a recollection
Your manager runs the operation in Starry. This is the part of it that concerns you.
Who was there, and when
Every job at your unit carries who it was assigned to, when they accepted it, when they started, when they finished, and anything that blocked them in between.
Photos against the line they prove
A checklist line can require a photograph before it counts as complete. So “beds made, linens fresh” is a picture of the beds, taken in your unit, that day.
The gap, in hours
Starry knows exactly how long there was between your last guest leaving and the next one arriving — and flags the turns where there was not enough time, rather than discovering it afterwards.
One place to ask
Message your manager against the property and the week in question, instead of starting another email thread that ends in “I'll check.”
The end of “it went fine”
A month at your property in Starry is a list of jobs that either happened or did not, each with the evidence attached. It is the same record your manager works from — there is no separate, friendlier version for owners.
- Every clean, inspection, restock and repair, in order
- Photographs stored against the checklist line they belong to
- The same data your manager sees, not a summary of it
What isn't here yet
Starry does not have an owner login today. Everything above lives in your manager's console, and they can show you or send it on. An owner-facing view is something we intend to build — we would rather say so than sell you a screen that does not exist.
Managed by someone who uses Starry?
Ask them to walk you through one turnover at your unit: the window, the checklist, and the photos.
